Summary You will serve as a PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (MECHANICAL) in the LIFTING AND HANDLING DEPARTMENT (CODE 200), CRANE ENGINEERING DIVISION (CODE 210) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Responsibilities You will be responsible for both the immediate workload control and emergent workload planning associated with crane maintenance shops.
You will research various Navy logistics systems to determine or verify the parts, documentation, special equipment, etc.
required to support un-programmed actions being incorporated into maintenance activities.
You will monitor work accomplishment and perform status reporting to keep internal codes and external activities informed of planning and implementation efforts and milestones.
You will assure that necessary follow-up actions are uniformly carried out for all maintenance work assigned in order to facilitate or improve subsequent maintenance operations.
Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience planning, scheduling, monitoring, working and performing status reporting, resolves problems/conflicts, and assures the timely and effective performance of assigned preventative maintenance (PM's) and Corrective Maintenance (CM's) by the crane Maintenance (CM's) by the Crane Maintenance Shop within the specified time periods and reporting periods/ availability.
Obtains, provides, and bases recommendations to upper management, supervisors and mechanics on equipment information such as maintenance requirements, equipment and conditions needed to operate and repair it.
Experience resolving problems and conflicts, and assures the timely and effective performance of assigned preventative maintenance, repair, and modification/installation of new equipment.
Experience in planned preventative maintenance workload control and emergent workload planning of affecting crane repairs.
Experience performing various production control tasks associated with administering immediate control over crane maintenance and repair operations.
